The Traveler (hereafter named "you" or "your") and Lebanon ehf., registered at Hringhamar 23, Hafnarfjörður, 221, IS, with ICELANDIC TOURIST BOARD AS DAY TOUR PROVIDER with Business ID : 680423-0160 and VAT no. 150202 (hereafter named "Lebanon ehf ", "we", "our" or "us"), agree to enter into the following:
By accessing, browsing, using, and/or completing a reservation through our websites (lavatransfer.com – icetransfer.is) or through our approved reseller's or booking agents, or Online Travel Agencies (OTA's) you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to the entire website and any email or other type of communication between you and Lebanon ehf .
LEBANON EHF is a licensed day tour operator. we specialize in private tailor-made expeditions. Reservations and bookings for our services can be made on our websites "lavatransfer.com" or "icetransfer.is" or through our approved resellers & booking agents, online travel agencies Should you encounter any problems, you can contact our customer care team at "support@lavatransfer.com" or "info@icetransfer.is" It is requested to you to provide all information required when booking. Completed bookings will be sent a confirmation email, which includes a voucher/ticket containing booking confirmation number. Please bring this confirmation with you on the day of the tour, as this will act as proof of payment & reservation. Be aware that you are responsible for providing the correct information required by our booking process, and we cannot be responsible for any mistakes made during the booking process. In the event of a discrepancy, such as booking mistakes where the wrong date and/or the incorrect number of participants was booked, please contact our customer care team at support@lavatransfer.com or info@icetransfer.is immediately as it may not be possible to make amendments to your reservation when it gets closer to your departure date. We will try to come up with best solution possible
The Lead traveler making the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of their travel group and is responsible for payment due from the group in its entirety.
License
Lebanon ehf grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install and use the website strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
These Terms & Conditions are a contract between you and Lebanon ehf (referred to in these Terms & Conditions as "Lebanon ehf ", "us", "we" or "our"), the provider of the Lebanon ehf websites (lavatransfer.com – icetransfer.is) and the services accessible from the Lebanon ehf website (which are collectively referred to in these Terms & Conditions as the "Lebanon ehf Service").
You are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not use the Lebanon ehf Service. In these Terms & Conditions, "you" refers both to you as an individual and to the entity you represent. If you violate any of these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your account or block access to your account without notice.

Service(s): refers to the private tailor-made travel arrangements provided by Lebanon ehf as described in the relative terms (if available) and on this platform.
Third-party service: refers to advertisers, contest sponsors, promotional and marketing partners, and others who provide our content or whose products or services we think may interest you.

You: a person or entity that is registered with Lebanon ehf to use the Services.
Restrictions
You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:
- License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the website or make the platform available to any third party.
- Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile or reverse engineer any part of the website.
- Remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) of Lebanon ehf or its affiliates, partners, suppliers or the licensors of the website.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All bookings of scheduled tours, operated by LEBANON EHF require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel a booking for a 100% refund. If cancellation is made after this time no refund is given. We will always endeavor to reschedule you onto a new trip departure, where possible
Refunds
If you have booked a private tailor-made with LEBANON EHF, and wish to cancel the following conditions apply: More than 7 days' notice we will refund 90% of the cost of the tour. This covers our transactional and direct costs due to cancellation.
Less than 7 days, but more than 48 hours' notice, you will be refunded 50% of the tour price.
Less than 48 hours' notice no refund is provided. We will always endeavor to reschedule you onto a new trip departure, where possible.
If you have only paid a deposit when the cancellation request is received, please note that the cancellation fee is based on the full tour price and not a percentage of the deposit amount.

Pricing & Payments
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Purchases made via a credit/debit card will go through 3D Secure. We require the full amount at the time of booking.
Payment Processing "All payments are processed by IceTransfer LLC via Stripe. By completing a transaction, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and IceTransfer LLC’s payment policies. We are not responsible for any errors or fees imposed by the payment processor." Refunds & Disputes "Refund requests must be directed to Lebanon ehf. However, final processing depends on IceTransfer LLC/Stripe’s policies. Chargebacks or disputes must be resolved through the payment provider." Liability Limitation "We are not liable for delays or failures in payment processing caused by IceTransfer LLC, Stripe, or other third-party services."
The preferred & Official currency for the payment of services LEBANON EHF offer is Islandic Krona (ISK) unless otherwise stated. Any pricing advertised in ISK by us on our websites, communications, social media platforms, through our approved resellers, suppliers, booking agents is subject to rate fluctuations. Therefore, any price not advertised in ISK must be taken as indicative only with the ISK price taking precedent. Your card will always be charged in ISK. We also refund in ISK. Since we do not charge any booking or transaction fees, we cannot be held liable for any losses due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates during transactions, nor any third-party transaction fees that may occur at the time of your payment and/or refund. Keep in mind that your card issuer may charge you a foreign transaction fee. As a local operator, we cannot be responsible for currency fluctuations and/or additional fees outside our control that may be applied, such as bank fees, transfer fees, credit card fees, etc.
All prices mentioned on our website are current prices and include value-added tax (VAT). We reserve the right to alter or change already published prices on our website without prior notice in case of economic changes, including but not limited to, currency fluctuation, inflations, increased cost of supplies, government taxes, force majeure events, or any such cost increases which are outside our control. Prices are guaranteed against any surcharge after an invoice has been issued unless the increase is due to government laws or currency changes and amounts to 5% of the tour price or more. The amounts that exceed 5% will be charged and you will be entitled to cancel your booking with a full refund if the surcharge exceeds 10%. Any increase due to changes in government laws, i.e., tax changes, will be added to the invoice. In case of VAT or other tax changes, prices will change accordingly. Price changes affected by tax changes will apply to all reservations, although reservations have been confirmed on previous prices or payment has already been made. All prices are inclusive of VAT and are subject to any official tax changes.
Pick-up and Drop-off Services
When you are booking a tour with us, a pickup location is required and a drop-off location is required. Services provided by LEBANON EHF are mainly from, to and around Reykjavik. Pick up location or drop off location is according to the tour you have booked. We pick you up from any hotel, guesthouse, B&B within area in Reykjavik, your pick-up time will be on your ticket and generally is 30-45 minutes before departure time. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive our e-ticket with detailed information including date, tour departure time, pick-up & drop-off times. Please note that there are limitations on some locations on the Reykjavík peninsula, if you are in doubt, please contact us prior to booking.
Please wait at your pick up location 5 minutes before the specified pickup time. Usually, we allow 2 to 3 minutes waiting time at each location. If the driver waits for you longer than this time, the tour may depart without you. We will not refund the booking price in this case. Should a guest not be ready in a reasonable time, the tour will have to proceed. The operator has the right to charge an additional fee for any extra time that the group is delayed by individual passengers. Furthermore, if the bus cannot access your pickup location due to difficult road conditions, street construction or any other reason, you will be asked to walk to the nearest accessible location. In winter time, this may include some walking on icy ground.
As a general rule our drop off follows the same order as the pick-up. This means that the last person to be picked up will be the first to be dropped off.
Meeting on Location
For some tours, it will be required for guests to meet on location for the tours or activities. In this case, a meeting location is provided to participants when they receive our e-ticket with all the detailed information about departure time and location in that case. You are expected to be at the meeting location 15 minutes before tour departure and Lava Transfer guide will meet you there. It is advisable to arrive 15 minutes before the departure time to ensure departure according to the schedule.
If you do not show up at the meeting location within 10 minutes from the departure time or if you are coming from a pick-up location and are not ready for pick up 5 minutes after the specified pick-up time on the ticket, you will be considered a no-show and unfortunately, we will not be able to refund the tour fee. The tour will proceed without you.
Travel Insurance
We recommend that you have appropriate travel insurance in place to cover you for your trip. In the event of a personal emergency, we can help you to contact relevant emergency services if needed, but you should have appropriate travel insurance in place.
Weather Conditions
Some tours with LEBANON EHF are dependent on weather conditions. Especially Northern Lights tours, glacier tours, Highland tours and boat tours in case they happen to be taking place outdoors and will be affected by uncontrollable weather conditions.
We reserve the right to adapt the itinerary according to local circumstances and weather and may change the departure time of the tour, the order of activities, or cancel part of the itinerary or the entire tour due to safety reasons. Tour routes can be changed on short notice due to weather conditions, particularly during the winter months (October to April), when some roads may be impassable due to ice and snow.
Unfortunately, the weather in Iceland is unpredictable and can't be guaranteed. Therefore, we cannot offer any refunds based on the weather. However, if we need to cancel the entire tour due to safety reasons or weather conditions, we will offer a full refund or reschedule the tour to another day. If we need to switch part of the tour to an alternative tour or activity, an extra charge or a reduced fee may apply due to price differences.
Clothing
We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions and activities planned for your tour. Iceland weather can be quite unpredictable and change quickly so for most tours, we recommend warm and waterproof clothing and suitable foot wear. For glacier walks we strongly recommend hiking boots and warm clothing. Specific equipment that may be needed for tours will be stated when you book.
For some activities such as glacier walks and ice caving, we provide some special equipment. However, in some cases, there might be additional gear available to rent for an extra fee. You will be informed about what is included and what you might need to rent separately when you make your booking.
Assumed Risk
Adventure travel often involves an element of personal risk and activities in nature are inherently risky. You participate in our tours and activities at your own risk. Although our activities are as safe as we can make them, and no effort is spared to ensure your safety and enjoyment, we cannot eliminate all risks. We ask that you use common sense and follow instructions from your guide at all times. You are responsible for informing us of any relevant medical condition or physical limitation that could create a hazard to you or other members of the tour.
LEBANON EHF reserves the right to exclude you from a tour if you are intoxicated with alcohol or any other substance, or if your behavior is deemed inappropriate or potentially dangerous to yourself or other clients.
Reviews
You may be able to submit reviews or rate our website, products and/or Services and/or submit comments, feedback, photos, videos, or other content (collectively, "reviews"). Reviews become the property of LEBANON EHF and may be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited by LEBANON EHF for any purposes whatsoever without restriction. You agree that LEBANON EHF has the right to edit and/or remove any reviews for any reason. You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the content of any reviews you submit and that you, not LEBANON EHF, are liable for any and all consequences of submitting reviews (including any damages or liability incurred by LEBANON EHF). You understand that your reviews may be deleted for any reason and/or may not appear on the website for any reason.
If you submit a review, you hereby grant to LEBANON EHF a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, distribute, and make derivative works of such review in any and all media.
Alcohol and Drugs Policy
The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited before or during the tours and activities offered by LEBANON EHF. Passengers found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused service, and no refund will be provided under these circumstances. LEBANON EHF reserves the right to exclude any participant who is, in the opinion of the driver or guide, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or potentially dangerous to themselves or other participants.
Safety is our top priority, and we require all participants to be alert and responsible throughout the duration of the tour. If you are taking medication that may affect your ability to participate safely, please inform us at the time of booking.
User Suggestions
Any feedback, comments, ideas, improvements or suggestions (collectively, "suggestions") provided by you to LEBANON EHF with respect to the website shall remain the sole and exclusive property of LEBANON EHF.
LEBANON EHF shall be free to use, copy, modify, publish, or redistribute the suggestions for any purpose and in any way without any payment or restriction. LEBANON EHF is under no obligation to acknowledge or compensate you for any suggestions you provide.
